Cosmoryx
Cosmoryx / Security & data

Trust is part
of the architecture.

Who can act. Which data belongs where. What happens when a request repeats, a connection fails or an AI proposes a change. These are engineering decisions from the beginning.

Clear boundaries.
Dependable foundations.

Permissions follow the work.

Our projects use role and workspace boundaries, scoped data access, session controls and protected file delivery. AI tools should operate within the user's existing authority, with meaningful review for consequential actions.

Data shaped for its job.

PostgreSQL supports relational workflows. TimescaleDB migrations support telemetry compression and continuous aggregates. SQLite and Room support local applications. Object storage, caches and event streams have distinct responsibilities.

Tenant isolation and database policies are chosen per system. A technique used in one product is not assumed to exist in every deployment.

Work that survives a retry.

Durable queues, idempotency keys, worker leases and explicit delivery states help systems recover without silently repeating consequential operations. Migration and recovery checks belong alongside feature development.

Credentials and software supply paths.

Server-side provider credentials, encrypted connection secrets, signed webhook verification and firmware signature checks appear across our work. The right combination depends on the device, deployment and threat model.

Understand the cryptography
your systems depend on.

Observe.

Public TLS and certificate observations establish a time-stamped view of the endpoint that was actually checked.

Inventory.

Source discovery, certificate records and cryptographic bill-of-materials workflows bring evidence into a structured workspace.

Interpret.

Evidence-linked analysis helps teams distinguish observed facts, collection gaps and priorities for further validation.

Plan.

Post-quantum migration planning connects algorithm exposure with accountable next steps and review.

Coverage differs across source, binary, container, runtime, mobile and cloud workflows. An observation is not a whole-system certification or proof of quantum readiness.

Advanced techniques.
Practical reasons to use them.

Hybrid knowledge retrieval, structured agent tools, temporal event replay, time-series aggregation, geometric optimisation and device-side control solve different problems. We choose them around the work, and make assumptions and review points visible.
